Not Your Parents' Art Show

Born in a Los Angeles warehouse in 2009, Pancakes & Booze is the art show that proved you don't need a gallery to make great art matter. We took everything pretentious about the art world and set it on fire. What's left is pure — real artists, real crowds, real connections, and a stack of free pancakes that never stops.

"The number of people these events attract is insane. I sold four pieces at my very first show and the networking alone was worth showing up."

"This was my first art show ever and I've never felt so much warmth. A gem in the art show circuit. The talent level is unreal and the energy is electric."

Frequently Asked

Submit your application on our site — no fee required. Just give us some basic info and a link to your work. If you don't have a website, email photos to info@pancakesandbooze.com. We accept artists until space fills up, so earlier is better.

Your first two pieces are free when fees are paid 7+ days before the show. Additional pieces are $20 each. There are absolutely zero commissions on anything you sell — you keep 100% of your sales.

Artists display hangable work (canvas, prints, etc.) on gallery walls. Vendors sell non-hangable items like jewelry, clothing, or crafts from tables. You can apply as both if you've got both types of work.

Minimum 3, maximum 10. Each piece can't exceed 3x3 feet (36x36 inches). Wall panels are 8x4 feet and displayed salon-style from floor to ceiling.

Yes — place prints, stickers, pins, and small items in bins on the floor beneath your displayed work. No tables in the gallery area though — those are reserved for vendors.

Vendor fees range from $75–$150 depending on the city. You bring your own table and chairs. Each space fits a 6-foot table in roughly an 8x5-foot area. Spaces sell fast — apply early.

Yes — you just need to be an accepted, exhibiting artist. No extra fee. Bring an easel, a chair, and a drop cloth. Your body paint model gets in free.

Installation is typically day-of between 1–5 PM. Artwork must be removed immediately after the show ends — no exceptions. Exact times come in your pre-event email.

Yes to both. We provide professional lighting and hanging tools (screws, screw guns). Wire your pieces if you can, but stretched canvas works without it. No hammers or nails allowed.

Yes — you're on the guest list. Everyone else (including assistants) pays the cover. We offer discounted pre-sale tickets up to a week before, so tell your crew to grab those.
